Simon Durdan

Simon studied Biology at Plymouth University, before moving on to take his MSc in Biotechnology and then PhD in Cell biology. After postdoctoral positions at: Academia Sinica – Taiwan, the University of Texas – Houston, the University of California – San Francisco and the University of Cambridge, he realised how much he enjoyed teaching, and decided to return to university to study for his PGCE. Since then, Simon has been teaching both A Level and GCSE Biology in Germany, the Czech Republic and the UK.

In his spare time Simon enjoys travelling, reading, and trying to improve his very poor German.
