Abbey College Cambridge is located on a purpose-built campus in the centre of Cambridge.

TRAVEL

London (Heathrow) & London (Gatwick) Airports

The journey to Cambridge from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports to Cambridge typically takes between 2 to 3 hours by train, coach or private vehicle. Abbey College Cambridge can organise taxi transfers between the college and Heathrow and Gatwick airports for new and returning students.

London (Stansted) Airport

London Stansted Airport is the closest international airport to Cambridge. There are regular direct trains and coaches between Stansted Airport and Cambridge The journey takes about 30 minutes. Abbey College Cambridge can organise taxi transfers between the college and Stansted Airport for new and returning students.

Cambridge Railway Station

There are direct trains between Cambridge and London King’s Cross and London Liverpool Street stations approximately every 30 minutes throughout the day.  The journey takes 50 to 75 minutes, depending on the choice of train and London station. Abbey College Cambridge is located approximately 15 minutes walk from Cambridge Railway Station.

Cambridge City Centre

Our college campus is a 25 minute walk from the historic centre of Cambridge.

Travelling to the College by Car

Our college postcode is CB2 8EB. On campus parking is limited so please remember to request this in advance if required.

Abbey College Cambridge Boarding Houses

Our Abbey House boarding house is located on campus. Our Purbeck House halls of residence are located directly opposite our campus (2 minute walking distance). Tripos Court is located a 5 minute walk from campus, and Orchard House is located a 15 minute walk from campus.
