The city is a fusion of the everyday and the extraordinary, a place that has shaped history and continues to make its mark on our future.
For over 800 years, the city has been home to the world-renowned University of Cambridge, it is consistently voted as one of the world’s best.
We have close links with the University and can offer students access to its institutes, departments and colleges. As part of our Oxbridge application programme we have organised scientific internships at its laboratories and meetings with university admissions tutors.
Cambridge is a quiet, safe and very beautiful city. There are an enormous range of cultural, sporting, leisure and entertainment opportunities within the city and the surrounding countryside. It is also a hub for cutting edge research and development. Technology start-ups, entrepreneurs, and established global giants such as Apple, Microsoft, ARM and Hewlett Packard all have bases here.
Central London is 50 minutes away by train. The nearest international airport is just 30 minutes by train or car. European capitals such as Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels can also be accessed from the city centre.
