‘Feel the Glow’ Winter Concert

On the 20th of November 2024, the main hall was lit up for the annual winter concert at Abbey College Cambridge. There was a great variety of performers, from a ukelele group to a choir. Weeks of preparation had led up to an exciting evening of music to be enjoyed by all. Brightly coloured lights illuminated the stage, setting the atmosphere perfectly for the theme of ‘Feel the Glow’ and showing off the beautiful backdrop created by our school Art department.
Throughout the evening, students from Year 9 all the way through to Year 13 displayed their musical talent to the audience. Everyone received support from the audience, who clapped for every performance.
The Winter Concert was an amazing experience, not just because of the wonderful performances, but also because of the sense of community it brought to the school. It was also a chance for students to take their mind off of school work and simply enjoy college life.
