The Abbey College Cambridge Summer School students went to a cookery school to learn how to make British desserts on the 2nd of August.
It was raining but we were all excited. Under the instruction of the teachers,we began to make chocolate brownies, a jam roll as well as chocolate chip cookies. Working as a team, we shared our tasks out and finished them step by step.
After a lot of measuring, mixing, whisking and stirring, we put our products into the oven. Several minutes later, all the desserts were done.
At the end of the lesson, we shared our products with our classmates and tasted them. They were not all so delicious but we all learned a lot and had fun.
It was a wonderful experience.
